There used to be some other mods to, i believe there even was one that used the internal xray on other vehicles, all taken down and removed. even better leaf textures or improved ground textures are a no go. It was just a headsup, skins are recommended and while sounds may be just fine, as soon as you touch anything else then skins graphics wise. There is not much else out there other then skins and sound mods as it is. Also had the chance to ask a modderator here and he said sound mods are fine. Though i do support realism mods that enhance the sounds and ui mods and whatnot, i myself dont use them and i advise not to use these manual mods for obvious reasons.

Skins are "supported" by the game and won't get wiped by the launcher.
